How it works
Local-first, cloud when you need it
Nearby, files move at local speed and never touch a server. Far apart, they take a link — a URL, a QR code, a six-character code. No account required.
The flow
Four steps, zero ceremony
One encrypted pipeline from your hand to theirs — the beam is the whole journey.
Step 01
Choose your files
Photos, videos, folders, entire projects — pick anything in the app, or drop it straight into your browser at bishare.app.
ANY SIZEStep 02
Pick a destination
A device that appears nearby, a link for someone far away, or a room for the whole group. BIShare finds nearby devices automatically.
AUTO-DISCOVERYStep 03
It travels encrypted
Every transfer is sealed with AES-256 before it leaves your device. Nearby transfers go direct and never touch a server.
AES-256-GCMStep 04
It arrives. That’s it.
Files land intact and verified. Anything shared through a link deletes itself after 24 hours.
24H AUTO-DELETE
Routes
Four ways to get there
Pick whichever fits the moment — they all end with the file where it belongs.

FAQ
Details, answered
The short version of everything people ask us.
Do I need an account?
No. Anyone can send and receive transfers without signing up — there’s nothing to create, no email, and no profile to manage. Install and start sending.
Does the other person need the app?
Not necessarily. Anyone can download a shared file in their browser using the link or code, and browser access lets any computer on your network exchange files with your device. The app makes everything faster — but it’s never required on both ends.
How big can files be?
Between devices on the same network: no limit — send a 40 GB folder if you like. Shares that travel through a link are free up to 10 GB per file and are deleted after 24 hours.
Is it really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. Transfers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using X25519 key exchange. Nearby transfers travel device-to-device and never touch a server; remote shares are held on secure infrastructure and deleted automatically.
What happens after 24 hours?
Shared files are permanently deleted — links and codes simply stop working. One-time links go further and delete themselves after the very first download.
What if a transfer gets interrupted?
Browser uploads are resumable: if the connection drops or a tab closes, the upload continues from where it stopped instead of starting over.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux — plus any modern web browser for receiving and one-off sends. The app is available in 13 languages.
Can I share with a whole group?
Yes — create a room. Share its four-character code and up to 20 people can join, each able to upload and download files. Rooms work locally without internet, or anywhere through a link.
Can I control who sends to me?
Fully. Set a PIN that senders must enter, choose who can discover your device — everyone, favorites only, or nobody — and enable auto-accept only for devices you trust.
